I have recently arrived (and been warmly welcomed!) in Glasgow for the Lightwaves International Residency Exchange programme, a collaboration between two institutions Street Level Photoworks in Glasgow, and VU in Quebec City, four visual artists and two writers. In this cross-cultural exchange, the themes of migration and heritage will be explored. Melanie Latoré, a participating artist in the Lightwaves residency, welcomed me into the city and gave me a walking tour of the neighbourhood.

Je suis récemment arrivée à Glasgow pour le programme de résidence internationale Lightwaves, un projet collaboratif entre deux institutions Street Level Photoworks, à Glasgow, et VU, à Québec, quatre artistes visuels, et deux écrivains. Dans ce projet, les thèmes de la migration et de l’appartenance seront explorés.
