A white marble sculpture representing Cain is placed at the entrance of the Botanical Garden of Glasgow. According to the Bible, Cain, one of the two sons of Adam and Eve, having killed is Brother Abel out of jealousy, is the first murderer of humanity. God condemns him to permanent wandering, making of Cain the first refugee, nomad, meanderer and traveller.

Une sculpture de marbre blanc représentant Caïn est installée à l’entrée de la grande serre du Jardin botanique de Glasgow. Selon la Bible, Caïn, l’un des deux fils d’Adam et Ève, ayant tué son frère Abel, est le premier meurtrier de l’humanité. Pour son crime, Dieu le condamna à errer en permanence sur la terre, faisant également de lui le premier vagabond, nomade, réfugié et voyageur.
